Boy And The Apple Tree

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it everyday. He climbed to the tree top, ate the apples, took a nap under the shadow. He loved the tree and the tree loved him.

Time went by... the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day. One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.

"Come and play with me," the tree asked the boy.
"I am no longer a kid, I don't play around trees anymore." The boy replied,
"I want toys. I need money to buy them."
"Sorry, but I don't have money... but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money."
The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples.

One day, the boy returned and the tree was so excited.
"Come and play with me" the tree said.
"I don't have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?"
"Sorry, but I don't have a house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house.
" So the boy cut all the branches of the tree and left happily.

The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy never came back since then.

One hot summer day, the boy returned and the tree was delighted.

"Come and play with me!" the tree said.
"I am sad and getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?"
"Use my truck to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy."

So the boy cut the tree truck to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.

Finally, the boy returned after he left for so many years.

"Sorry, my boy. But I don't have anything for you any more.
"No more apples for you... "the tree said.
"I don't have teeth to bite" the boy replied.
"No more truck for you to climb on"
"I am too old for that now" the boy said.
"I really can't give you anything ... the only thing left is my dying roots" the tree said.
"I don't need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years." The boy replied.
"Good! Old tree roots is the best place to lean on and rest. Come, Come sit down with me and rest."
The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled.......
You may think that the boy is cruel to the tree. But how irony isn't it, many people in the world treat their parent just like the boy treats the tree.

We love to play with our parent when we're still very young, when we grow up. we left them and only go back to our parent when we need something or when we are in trouble, but no matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could to make you happy.

This is a story for everyone. Honor your parents!

Beautiful world is in your hand.

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs.

His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. Both of them talked for hours on everyday. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window. The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats.Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fineview of the city skyline could be seen in the distance. As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a parade passing by.Although the other man could not hear the band - he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days, weeks and months passed. One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away. As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window besides the bed.

It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.

The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall. She said, 'Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.

The man who is blind can never ever see the world out there, but yet in his mind, the world he lives in is such a beautiful place. . .

If everyone just put down their daily stressful life and just look into the world with a different eye, they would see that this world is a much better place to live in. Indeed the ideal world is in your own hand! It is you that determine which kind of world you are living in.

Friendship

Today one of my good friend asked me whether am i close to another one of my good friend, i answered him, yes of course! as close as i am to you.

After that i think about how do we measure closeness to one another.

Yes we measure closeness to one another based on the kind of friendship we have.

causal friend or true friend?

I've never really thought of our relationship as deeply as i am now. The time we've spend through this 2 years.

The time we've spend hanging out in food court 4.

The time we've spend playing soccer in the court.

The time we've been helping each other out in our studies.

The time we've spend together sharing with each other of our secret. (though not all)
The time we've spend joking on each other and laughed together.

What really is a true friendship?

Yes! A true friendship is the one that last for a lifetime even when all else fail us! No matter how high the mountain or how deep is the valley, a true friend will stay by my side and brave through them with me.
Let us together brave through them all my true friends!

The worst thing that can happen to a student is on the first day of the week i'm going to have a 5 hour straight lecture from 1pm to 6pm! imagine! On a monday, a student waking up early in the morning with the typical monday blue, and knowing he is going to have a 5 straight hour lecture later on. . . Anyway just some random ranting going on haha, i gotta go and try to get some sleep! i'm not a fan of sleeping during lecture.

Road to fly

Recently, i've been thinking whether i am able to be admitted to the local university after i have graduated from poly, but sadly with my current GPA, all the people i've encounter including my lecturer told me to GIVE UP, it is impossible for a student with GPA below 3 to be admitted into the university.

All of us has made mistakes including me, i've been too playful and wild during my first and second year of my poly life. Though looking at the seemingly hopeless situation, i still held in my heart....

i can do it, no matter what it is, i can do it.

I do not know what will i be after i've served my national service. but one thing i know is i can do it, with my unfailing determination, with my vision and dream held in my mind, with my desire to get what i want in life, with my desire to live my life to the fullest.

Let me fly to the highest point i can ever imagine!

Religion

An interesting issue has been raised in the class today.

Teacher: Why do people still believe in a certain thing that they can neither see nor touch. . . such as religion, yet do not trust their own fellow human being?

Student 1: People do not trust in their fellow human being, because of selfishness, betrayal, survival instinct, yet those of the unseen which we can neither see nor touch has trigger a sense of hope in a world where chao preveils. And it is because of these sense of hope that makes people believe things such as religion.

And i am thinking about the issue quietly in my sit.
Do i ever has that sense of hope that made me believe in HIM?

No i don't, and i am feeling sorry for the people that has been deceived and blinded by the fake teachers and doctrine.

Recently in an article report that, there is a small town located in US. Where all the townfolk is under the govern of a single priest and all of the townfolk HAVE to attend the only church in the town set up by the priest.

The interesting part of the article is that the priest said that the ONLY purpose of a women is to help a man to go to heaven by marrying them, the more women you marry, the higher the chance you have to be able to go to heaven. AND the priest is the one that make decision for ALL the women in the town in their marriage, not their father or their mother, it is the priest!

So one day a women escaped from the town as she can no longer take the stress of allowing the elderest daughter of her to be married off to a 80 years old man who has already 7 wife in total.

That is when the story is unfold when the women escape to the city police station. The priest was arrested.

And you think everything is over? NO!

The women in the town go on a protest right infront of the court and demanded the immendiate release of their beloved priest!

This is the power of fake teachers and doctrine. . . . To the extent where the town's women really believe that their only purpose in life is to help the men to go to heaven. . .

Yet i believe as we continue to strive for a better world and put our trust into what we really believe in, we can stop all these tragedy, and really have that sense of hope in our life and ourselves.

The End of Everything?

I've come across an interesting book named " The end of science". And a very interesting point is mentioned.

What if the scientist aka truth-seeker, has finally reach the limit of knowledge?
Where Cosmologist has finally understand why and how the universe is created,
Where Clinical biologist has finally found out what gives raise to consciousness in our brain.

Is there really an end to the era of science? Will there be an end to everything.
I've alway been thinking that science is infinate till i encounter this book.

We'll never know the end till we reach the end, and that is what i believe strongly.

The Beginning

As i begin this walk, the road ahead is unpredictable,
no one ever promised me an easy road ahead.

All i can do is to brave through this road with my small, and vulnerable body, I'll never be looking back.

I will bruise,
I will bleed,
I will fall,

But I will persevere on,
I will see the end,
I will be a good finisher.
